Summary

Rayman Raving Rabbids on the Game Boy Advance flips the party‑game hype into a solid 2‑D platformer. The title plays like a classic Rayman adventure, offering 25 stages that rely on precise jumping, climbing and attacking rather than minigames. Throughout the journey Rayman swaps outfits, each granting a fresh ability that encourages back‑tracking to uncover secret routes. Because it’s a pure side‑scroller, the handheld version feels more like the original Rayman (1995) while still carrying the Rabbids brand. It also earned the dubious distinction of being the series’ final GBA entry and the only Rabbids title ever released for the system, making it a quirky collector’s piece for retro enthusiasts.

Storyline

Rayman is napping when the Rabbids burst onto the scene, kidnapping him and dumping him in a jail cell deep in the Dark World, even stripping him of his hands. With Murfy’s help he recovers his hands and breaks out, confronting Pink’s new toy – a massive Antitoon‑style machine.
After smashing the machine, Ly appears and outfits Rayman with a “Gangsta” costume that lets him pound the ground. In the nearby village Ly explains that the Rabbids were once gentle creatures, mocked by other animals, and that their current onslaught is a revenge for that humiliation.
Wearing a series of disguises, Rayman journeys through five distinct worlds, gathering more costumes before finally confronting the Rabbids’ Mothership. He destroys the ship, ending the invasion and restoring peace to the valley.
