Summary

Power Rangers: Dino Thunder on the Game Boy Advance feels like a nostalgic mash‑up of side‑scrolling beat‑em‑up action and quirky puzzle challenges. You control the three core Rangers—Red, Blue and Yellow—battling waves of enemies while hunting down civilians and taking down monster minions. The Black Ranger pops up in special stages where you have to solve brain‑teasers to free the captured Cephala, Parasaur, Ankylo and Dimetro Zords, and the White Drago Ranger shows up as a rival boss, throwing his own DragoZord and StegoZord into the mix. Whenever a foe grows gigantic, the game shifts to a MegaZord showdown, letting you customize the ThunderSaurus MegaZord with the rescued auxiliary Zords. Across 13 missions and 20 levels you’ll juggle combat, rescue runs and puzzles, though critics on Metacritic weren’t kind, rating the title generally unfavorably.

Storyline

In the Game Boy Advance version of Power Rangers: Dino Thunder, players take control of the three core Rangers – the Red Tyranno Ranger, the Blue Tricera Ranger, and the Yellow Ptera Ranger – as they battle enemies, rescue humans, and defeat monsters. The Black Brachio Ranger appears in separate puzzle missions where the goal is to free the captured Zords: Cephala, Parasaur, Ankylo, and Dimetro. When foes grow to giant size, the game shifts to MegaZord battles, letting players customize the ThunderSaurus MegaZord with the auxiliary Zords earned from those puzzle levels.
