Play Pokémon AlteRed Online

Summary

Pokémon AlteRed is a fan‑crafted romhack of the classic Pokémon FireRed, re‑imagining the original world with fresh twists. It sprinkles in every new form that has appeared since Generation III, while also polishing the map with updated areas and a handful of quality‑of‑life tweaks that smooth out the old glitches.
What really sets this hack apart is its daring type‑swap system: nearly every Pokémon in the Gen 3 Pokédex has been given a completely unique typing, turning familiar battles into surprising strategic puzzles. The result feels like a brand‑new roster hidden inside a beloved framework, encouraging both nostalgia and experimentation.
Overall, AlteRed manages to honor the spirit of the Game Boy Advance era while delivering a fresh challenge that feels both familiar and unexpectedly novel.
