Summary
Disney's Piglet's Big Game lets you wander the Hundred Acre Wood as the nervous but brave Piglet, turning his classic fears into a series of dream‑world challenges. Each of the seven levels drops you into a friend’s nightmare, where Heffalumps, Woozles, creepy trees, a talking door and even walking mirrors (a GBA exclusive) lurk around every corner. The core mechanic revolves around Piglet’s "Brave Faces" – you pull a funny expression, then match a code that appears on screen to scare the foes away. If an enemy gets too close, Piglet gets spooked, but a Christopher Robin balloon can restore his courage. Hidden cookies, tucked behind kickable objects five per spot, let you buy new faces and keep the scares fresh. The game also hands you the controls of Tigger and Pooh in select dreams: Tigger must tip‑toe past Heffalumps and Woozles in Roo’s and Rabbit’s realms, while Pooh darts away from the same critters after his tummy rumbles in Owl’s and Tigger’s dreams. This mix of simple puzzles and light platforming makes the title a charming, bite‑sized adventure for younger players.
Storyline
In Piglet's Big Game, a nightmare about a monster called the Granosorus sends Piglet racing to warn his friends. Christopher Robin soothes him, explaining that nightmares can teach bravery, and Piglet sets off to discover how to be courageous while the others drift to sleep.
Exploring dream portals, Piglet slips into each friend's dream, retrieving lost items and battling Heffalumps, Woozles, sentient mirrors, living trees, and even a talking door. All the console version’s dream stages appear here except Owl’s and Tigger’s.
When a flood sweeps the woods, Piglet must confront his fears, rescue his friends, and fight a host of enemies before finally confronting the Granosorus. Scaring the monster away, he returns to a grateful Christopher Robin, who throws a picnic to celebrate Piglet’s newfound bravery.
