The competition is hosted by an unseen driver of a sleek black car with a tinted dome, known only as the Mystery Rider, who challenges the racers to beat both him and each other. As the Race Announcer introduces the field, the Mystery Rider and the Nicktoons launch into the first race.

When players conquer the final Cup, their chosen Nicktoon is awarded a year’s supply of Krabby Patties attached to their go‑kart. The Mystery Rider then arrives, revealing himself to be Plankton, who orchestrated the whole series of races to steal the Krabby Patty secret formula. The victorious racer rides off into the sunset with their bounty as the credits roll.
