Summary
Naruto: Ninja Council (known in Japan as Naruto: Ninjutsu Zenkai! Saikyō Ninja Daikesshū) drops you into a fast‑paced side‑scrolling adventure on the Game Boy Advance. As Uzumaki Naruto you collect scrolls that let you spend chakra to unleash attacks, shatter barriers or summon whirlwinds, while allies like Sasuke and Kakashi pop in to lend a hand when the action heats up.
The sequel, Naruto: Ninja Council 2 (Naruto: Saikyō Ninja Daikesshu 2 in Japan), arrived in Japan on April 29, 2004 and reached North America on October 10, 2006. It expands the formula with a link‑cable co‑op mode for two players and a four‑player battle arena, swaps out the voice samples of its predecessor, and introduces a fresh sprite set that would become the visual staple for the series.
Storyline
Naruto on Game Boy Advance’s story mode loosely tracks the early anime arcs, beginning with the Land of Waves and continuing through the Chunin Exam. It follows the second‑through‑third seasons of the series, but the game takes liberties with the narrative. Several battles are repeated, pitting the player against Dosu Kinuta, Zaku Abumi, Kabuto Yakushi, and Orochimaru more than once. The developers also added locations that never appeared in the anime, giving the handheld adventure its own flavor.
