Summary

Maya the Bee: The Great Adventure is a Europe‑only platformer that leans on the charm of Waldemar Bonsels’ books and the beloved TV series. You guide Maya through 16 vivid areas split across four distinct worlds, all in search of her missing best friend, Willie. The levels range from a bustling bee‑hive where guard‑bees patrol, to bright poppy fields teeming with ants and hornets, then onto a watery pond populated by dragonflies and oddly aggressive jumping‑and‑spitting fish, and finally a dense forest swarming with mosquitoes and termites. Along the way, familiar faces like teacher Cassandra, grasshopper Flip, mouse Alexander and house‑fly Puck pop up to lend advice or a helpful boost. The core challenge is to navigate these hazards, solve simple puzzles, and ultimately rescue Willie before the clock runs out.
