Summary
Looney Tunes: Back in Action on the Game Boy Advance lets you hop between Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, each bringing a quirky skill set to the platforming mix. Bugs can dig and double‑jump, while Daffy flutters and swims, forcing you to swap characters to clear obstacles and solve puzzles. Scattered throughout the five regions—ranging from a neon‑lit Vegas to a romantic Paris—are coins, bills and the occasional gold bar, valued at $5, $50 and $100 respectively; the cash acts as a key to unlock four extra zones. Both critters can take three hits before snapping back to the last checkpoint, and the game offers an endless supply of lives, so the challenge stays in the puzzles, not the death count. Each area packs four to six mini‑challenges that test the duo’s abilities. Critics weren’t kind: the handheld version landed around the mid‑40s on aggregate sites, with Nintendo Power rating it just over half a star out of five.
Storyline
Looney Tunes: Back in Action on the Game Boy Advance follows the same storyline as the film. The adventure kicks off when the Acme Corporation steals the mystical Blue Monkey Diamond from Daffy Duck.
Determined to retrieve the gem, Daffy teams up with Bugs and the rest of the Looney Tunes gang. Together they travel across varied locations, battling Acme’s goons to recover the priceless stone.
