Summary

Croket! Yume no Banker Survival! (sometimes referred to as Croket! Yume no Bunker Survival) is one of those obscure Game Boy Advance titles that never made it past Japan’s borders. Published by Konami, it sits alongside the rest of the Croket! series, all of which stayed strictly domestic. The game debuted on October 17, 2002, landing on the handheld just as the GBA was winding down its golden era. For English‑speaking retro fans, it’s a curious footnote—a Konami‑backed puzzle‑adventure that remains locked behind a Japanese cartridge and a handful of fan translations. If you ever stumble upon a copy, you’ve found a true collector’s curiosity.

Storyline

The world of *Croket!*—known in the West as Korokke Yume no Bunker Survival (Patience)—is a bustling mix of humans and anthropomorphic animals where adventurers called Bankers hunt magical coins called Kinkas with their trusty Kinka Banks. Collecting enough Kinkas summons the Bank Wizard, who will grant any Banker a single wish. The story follows Croket, a scrappy young Banker whose heart is set on reviving his legendary father, Burger, who vanished at the hands of the mysterious Black Gown Man. His chance comes when the Banker Survival Quest tournament is announced for the perilous Macadamia Island, promising the winner enough Kinkas to fill the largest Kinka Bank ever made. As Croket battles friendly rivals and sinister foes, a hidden danger looms over the competition, threatening to expose secrets from his past.
