Summary

Kong: The Animated Series on the Game Boy Advance drops you onto Kong Island, a bizarre mash‑up where our modern world collides with an ancient, beast‑filled realm. The island guards thirteen sacred stones that supposedly unlock ultimate power, and it’s up to Kong, Jason and their quirky crew to keep them out of evil hands. I’m constantly amazed by how the platforming feels like a retro treasure hunt—each level is a dense jungle or crumbling temple teeming with prehistoric critters that you have to out‑run or out‑fight. The game’s charm lies in its frantic dash to rescue the stones while the backdrop hints at a larger planetary threat, making every jump feel like a small part of a grand, secret‑world adventure.
