Summary

Kiss x Kiss: Seirei Gakuen (often just called Kiss x Kiss) is a hidden gem for the Game Boy Advance that blends strategy elements with a sprawling school romance simulation. The title draws from Yamagami Chitose’s manga series, letting you step into the shoes of a junior high girl at the private Seirei Academy. Beyond the main five‑member boy group “KISS,” the game features fourteen original male characters, a host of female friends, and two secret figures, each loaded with detailed bios—birthdays, blood types, heights, weights, and personal quirks. While you’m busy increasing affection by handing out lunches and chatting in the hallway, the underlying mechanics demand careful planning, as the narrative’s culmination hinges on a Valentine’s Day showdown. After the finale, you even get a glimpse of each character’s future, adding a sweet extra layer to the experience. For anyone hunting for a nuanced, character‑rich title that’s long been overlooked outside Japan, Seirei Gakuen offers an oddly strategic twist on typical dating sims.

Storyline

Kiss x Kiss: Seirei Gakuen follows Naō, an upbeat first‑year middle‑schooler who enrolls at Star Bell Academy after being inspired by Wada, the student‑council president who once helped her. While at school she meets the five‑member boy unit KISS—Wada, Takumu, Kyūdo, Moritaka and Katsuragi—plus classmates like Mizuki and Makoto, each with their own backstory.
The gameplay revolves around raising each character's favorability by talking, giving lunch boxes, and completing personal episodes. Takumu is a popular model with a childhood in America, Kyūdo aims for a national martial‑arts title, Moritaka works as a top photographer, Katsuragi is a fortune‑teller who holds sign‑ings, and Wada plans to study abroad in England after graduation.
The ultimate goal is a Valentine’s Day event where Naō chooses the partner she truly loves, leading to endings that show the boys’ future careers—modeling, world tournaments, photography, sign‑events, or studying overseas—while classmates also achieve their dreams.
