Summary

Justice League Heroes: The Flash drops you into a bright, isometric side‑scrolling beat ’em up that leans into the Scarlet Speedster’s trademark quickness. You rush through 12 diverse levels, slashing enemies with an instant dash and slipping into a special super‑speed mode that slows foes while you keep charging, all limited by a modest meter that forces you to pick the right moments for flashy combos.

Along the way you can summon iconic allies—Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Arrow and others—for screen‑clearing attacks, though Batman’s absence is a tiny letdown. Boss battles pit you against powerhouses like Brainiac, Gorilla Grodd, Zoom and Circe, each demanding smart use of speed and melee.

Critics praised the fluid animations, vibrant backgrounds and the satisfying dash trail, saying the Flash’s voice quips add charm. While the core combat can feel repetitive and collision detection is spotty, the speed‑centric mechanics and lively graphics keep it fresh enough to stand out among GBA beat ’em ups.

Storyline

The Flash answers a robot invasion in Keystone City, only to discover a worldwide crisis being pulled by a hidden mastermind. The Justice League guides him from the Watchtower, and he defeats Gorilla Grodd, who reveals his tie to the robot controller.

Next, the speedster heads to Gotham City, where he takes down Killer Frost, another piece of the conspiracy. He then joins Wonder Woman on Themyscira, overcoming the sorceress Circe, who names Brainiac as the true puppet master. Afterward, Flash battles Zoom in a flooded city caused by earthquakes, learning that Zoom is also working for Brainiac.

In the final stage set in Metropolis, Flash rescues Superman from Brainiac’s ship, defeats the alien intellect, and uncovers a scheme to build a device around a stolen meteor. That device is meant to free Darkseid from an extradimensional prison, setting the stage for a larger Justice League showdown against the Darkseid threat.
