Summary

Inspector Gadget: Advance Mission spins the classic cartoon hero into a handheld action adventure that feels surprisingly fresh for a 2001 release. Magic Pockets, the studio behind the game, managed to capture Gadget’s clumsy charm while giving the player tight platforming controls that make each level feel like a mini‑puzzle. DreamCatcher Interactive’s publishing push helped the title land on the Game Boy Advance, where its colorful sprites and quirky gadget‑based attacks stand out among the era’s platformers. I love how the game rewards you for experimenting with Gadget’s extendable arms and other gizmos, turning every boss fight into a playful cat‑and‑mouse chase.
