Summary

The Hudson Best Collection Vol. 6: Bōken Jima Collection is the concluding chapter of Hudson’s retro anthology series, bundling every major Master Higgins adventure from the original NES era onto a single Game Boy Advance cartridge. This Japanese‑only release, which hit shelves on January 19, 2006, gathers the four classic Adventure Island titles, letting players hop, swing and blast through familiar island stages without swapping cartridges. By consolidating the entire NES saga, the compilation offers a nostalgic marathon for fans who grew up with Higgins’ side‑scrolling exploits, while also serving as a convenient showcase of Hudson’s early platforming pedigree. It’s a tidy, all‑in‑one package that celebrates the legacy of one of the era’s most enduring heroes.
