Summary
Godzilla: Domination! packs six iconic monsters into frantic, one‑on‑one brawls that spill across seven destructible arenas, each themed around a beast’s home territory. Every creature comes equipped with a distinct arsenal of punches, kicks, and signature special attacks, and smashing buildings yields power‑ups and weapons that tilt the fight in unexpected ways.
The GBA title, built by WayForward Technologies as a companion to the console version, offers a surprising amount of depth for handheld play: five different modes let you battle solo, set up custom match‑ups, or hook up with up to four friends via link cable. I love hopping between modes because each combo of monster and arena feels fresh, and the limited button layout surprisingly manages to deliver the chaotic fun that fans expect from a Godzilla showdown.
Storyline
In Godzilla: Domination! a strange object called Meteor X looms over Tokyo‑2, blasting magnetic waves that fry the nervous systems of most kaiju. The affected monsters go on a rampage, turning on Earth and even threatening neighboring planets, with the cyber‑enhanced Mecha‑King Ghidorah leading the chaos. One lone beast remains immune to the waves and is forced to step in as the only hope for the planet.
This unaffected monster must battle the berserk creatures, break through their defenses, and ultimately take down Meteor X before its destructive signal spreads any further.
