Summary

Cyber Drive Zoids (Rising Sun) on the Game Boy Advance lets you turn the handheld into a remote controller for actual motorized Zoids toys. The bundle ships with a Diablo Tiger Beta figure and a tiny infrared unit that plugs into the GBA’s link port, letting the console send wireless commands to the model. While piloting a Zoid, the screen switches to a cockpit view packed with read‑outs and gauges, giving the feeling of being inside the machine. The RPG portion plays like the earlier Zoids Saga titles, but the battles are rendered with low‑poly 3D Zoids and interspersed hand‑drawn cut‑scenes that flesh out the world. Both the game and the infrared adapter are required to make the toys move, creating a hybrid of video‑game role‑playing and real‑world toy control that was pretty unique for the GBA era.
