Summary
Bratz: Rock Angelz on the Game Boy Advance delivers a compact slice of the franchise’s fashion‑obsessed world in a handheld-friendly package. While it shares the film‑inspired premise, the GBA version swaps cinematic travel for a series of neighborhood tasks in Stylesville before whisking the girls away to London for a high‑energy show. Gameplay revolves around a mix of mini‑games—posing for photos, styling outfits, even short races—that reward you with new clothing and makeup items to customize each Bratz. The design encourages repetitive, bite‑size challenges, letting you dress up the crew, earn magazine points, and unlock extra fashion lines as you progress. Colorful sprite work and catchy tunes give the title a breezy charm that fits well with any portable gaming session.
Storyline
Jade lands an internship at the fashion magazine Your Thing, run by Burdine Maxwell, but a prank with a cheeseburger leads Burdine to fire her. Her friends Cloe, Sasha and Yasmin throw a surprise party, lift her spirits, and together they launch their own magazine called Bratz, setting up a headquarters right beside Burdine’s office.
After completing the first issue, the Bratz receive an invitation to Pinz Nightclub in London to see the band Crash. The Tweevils steal their tickets, so the girls disguise one of themselves to infiltrate Burdine’s office and recover them. In London they learn Crash has split up, prompting the Bratz to form their own band, Rock Angelz, and perform at the club, which catapults their magazine to outsell Your Thing.
The second issue sends them to Paris for the Ooh La La fashion show, now owned by Pink Industries, a subsidiary of Your Thing. Yasmin snaps a covert photo of Burdine during a skincare routine, blackmailing her into granting venue access, and the show is a hit. The third issue brings job offers for Cloe, Sasha and Yasmin, leaving Jade behind. When Cloe signs a contract with Burdine, Jade races to collect the scattered pages, defeats Burdine, and the Bratz celebrate with a final rock performance at a mansion.
