Summary

Bomberman Jetters on the Game Boy Advance expands the series’ signature bomb‑blasting fun with a 3‑D twist that feels like a natural evolution of Bomberman Generation. You can hop between Bomberman and his side‑kick Max, whose Hyper Plasma Bomb adds a punchy new flavor to the usual explosions, and both characters can call on Charaboms that evolve into more powerful partners with unique abilities. The single‑player Normal mode strings together stages in a clear progression, while the Battle mode throws a roster of characters into a variety of match‑ups, each equipped with flashy Killer Shots that act like super moves. Beyond the standard fights, the game offers quirky variants such as Battle One‑Two, Battle for Balloms, and Knockout Battle, plus an arcade‑style mini‑game called Bomber Mansion that unlocks after a death in Normal mode. Multiplayer shines with support for up to four players, letting friends duke it out head‑to‑head, and the whole package earned a modest 26/40 from Famitsu.

Storyline

In Bomberman Jetters, the mischievous Hige Hige Bandits, led by Mujoe, hatch a scheme to annihilate Planet Bomber. Their plan involves launching the artificial comet Dark Star, a massive world‑sized weapon, straight at the planet.

White Bomber and his sidekick MAX discover that the comet will strike in just 24 hours. To stop the disaster they must infiltrate Dark Star and shut down its four powerful engines, the only source of its propulsion. If they succeed, the comet will be rendered harmless and Planet Bomber will be saved.
