Summary

Batman: Rise of Sin Tzu landed on the Game Boy Advance as a compact take on the cinematic beat‑em‑up we’d seen on consoles. Despite its handheld roots, the title keeps the original voice talent—Kevin Conroy as Batman, Tara Strong as Batgirl, Scott Menville as Robin and Loren Lester as Nightwing—so you get the full New Batman Adventures vibe. The GBA version supports two‑player co‑op via link cable, letting friends bust thugs side‑by‑side, and it rewards you with new combat moves and upgrades as you clear each stage. A Challenge mode strips away the story, pitting you against endless waves either competitively or cooperatively. Four difficulty levels, including the hidden 'Dark Knight' setting, give the game enough bite to stay fresh even after you’ve mastered the moves.

Storyline

In Batman: Rise of Sin Tzu, on the anniversary of his parents' murder, Batman visits Crime Alley, stops a kidnapping and learns that Arkham Asylum and Stonegate Prison have been broken into. Commissioner Gordon contacts him, is attacked by Scarecrow, and after Batman defeats the fear‑gas‑using villain, Gordon warns that other super‑villains have escaped.
Gordon reports Clayface has seized the Gotham Chemical Factory and planted bombs on rooftops. Batman defuses the explosives and confronts Clayface, who plans to turn citizens into clay, but defeats him with electricity.
The mastermind is Sin Tzu, an Asian warlord imprisoned in Arkham, who declares Gotham his future stronghold. A doomsday weapon arrives at the docks; Batman intercepts it, brings it to the Batcave, and discovers it is Bane, whom he defeats.
Batman then infiltrates Arkham via the sewers, warned of Sin Tzu’s mind‑control powers. He battles through inmates—including Joker, Harley Quinn, Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy in suspended animation—and reaches Sin Tzu’s lower‑level chamber, defeating the warlord.
At dawn Gordon apologizes for keeping Sin Tzu’s imprisonment secret, and Batman reflects on his parents’ legacy as he watches over Gotham.
