Summary

Antz Extreme Racing lets you shrink down to ant size and tear around a world that feels both familiar and wildly exaggerated. The Game Boy Advance version, crafted by Magic Pockets and launched on 20 November 2002, captures the film’s humor while turning every race into a miniature thrill‑ride.

The tracks are divided among the four temperate seasons, and each season offers a different kind of competition: classic vehicle driving, soaring on the backs of insects, foot‑racing, and even snowboarding or surfing on makeshift boards. This variety keeps the gameplay fresh, as you might be leaf‑surfing one moment and then hopping onto a wasp for a high‑speed aerial dash the next.

Multiplayer works in split‑screen mode for up to four players, so you can pit your friends against each other in chaotic, ant‑sized chaos. The game constantly reminds you that while 0.5 MPH sounds snail‑slow, it’s blisteringly fast when you’re only a few millimetres tall.

Despite the tiny perspective, the controls are tight enough that practice turns you into a giant among racers, letting you dominate the fuse‑wheel courses and claim the podium with your favorite Antz character.
