Summary
Action Man: Robot Atak translates the animated film into a gritty side‑scrolling adventure on the Game Boy Advance. The 17 stages push you across crumbling cities and the mysterious Island X, confronting Dr. X’s legion of robots, dinosaurs and even giant bats. Each hero feels distinct – Redwolf never puts down his bow, Flint can double‑jump and launches a boomerang, while Action Man relies on his fists until he grabs the disc‑thrower or a gun that can be powered up.
Weapons and power‑ups are scattered as “AM” icons; collecting fifty grants an extra life, and checkpoints reset you every few screens. The game breaks the platform formula with two behind‑the‑back vehicle sequences: Flint tearing over dunes on a dirt bike and Redwolf surfing a wave of obstacles. Action Man also gets a volcanic motorcycle run and a makeshift helicopter stage.

Storyline
In Action Man: Robot Atak, the brilliant toxins expert Professor Moran is snatched by the villain No‑Face, who masquerades as Action Man to frame the hero for the kidnapping. No‑Face’s goal is to force Moran to create a mind‑control gas.
With the world’s authorities convinced they’re criminals, Action Man and his team, Action Force, watch their headquarters go under siege. No‑Face drags Moran to the mysterious Island X, where he unveils an army of X‑Robots that begin terrorising cities worldwide. He also resurrects the defeated Dr. X, planning to use the gas to enslave humanity.
Action Force flees with whatever gear they can salvage, battling X‑Robots en route and even planting a tracker on an X‑tank to locate the island. When they finally confront No‑Face, Flynt redirects the missiles carrying the mind‑control gas back to its launch point, destroying the base and thwarting the scheme. The team rescues Moran, but the final cutscene hints that Dr. X and No‑Face survived the explosion.
