Summary

I Am a Teacher: Teami no Kiso is a quirky little instructional program that turns the Famicom Disk System into a hand‑knitting tutor. You feed the software the amount, length and type of yarn you have, pick the garment you want to make, and it spits out a step‑by‑step guide that even a total novice can follow. The program lets you save your progress at any point, so you can pause your knitting session and pick up right where you left off. Unlike its predecessor, Super Mario no Sweater, Teami no Kiso contains no Nintendo mascots – it’s a straight‑forward guide aimed at beginners rather than fans looking for themed patterns. The whole thing was commissioned by the Japanese wool and sewing giant Royal Kougyou, and it’s widely believed that Nintendo handled the actual development and publishing, giving the title a uniquely hybrid educational‑gaming pedigree.
