I‑War drops you into a 3‑D virtual‑reality arena where you pilot a lone tank through twenty‑one distinct stages. Each level is a scavenger hunt for scattered data pods, and once you’ve collected them you must navigate to the exit while fending off enemy tanks, turret emplacements and swooping bombers. Hidden switches can unlock doors or trigger traps, adding a layer of puzzle‑solving to the combat.

The environments are deliberately compact, composed of simple rooms that link together in a linear fashion. One‑way teleporters push you forward, preventing backtracking and keeping the pace tight. This design forces you to plan your route carefully, balancing aggressive firepower with the need to locate every data pod before the timer runs out.
