Summary

Raimais is a fast‑paced maze chase that feels like a neon‑lit sprint through a futuristic labyrinth. You pilot a little vehicle, scooping up every dot while dodging relentless alien foes that can’t be destroyed, though power‑ups such as shields and lasers occasionally pop up to give you a brief edge. Each of the 32 mazes ends when the last dot is collected, at which point multiple exits flare open on the maze walls, letting you zip into a new area that may hold extra items or even a boss encounter. The original arcade version debuted in Japan in 1988, and the same gameplay resurfaced on the Famicom Disk System under the quirky title Youmais. Decades later it finally reached Western players via Taito Legends 2 and the Arcade Archives releases for Switch and PS4, preserving its quirky charm for a new generation of retro fans.

Storyline

In Raimais on Arcade, players take on the role of Rika Midorikawa. She must explore a maze‑like labyrinth, gathering dots while evading hostile alien foes. Her ultimate goal is to rescue her missing brother.
