Summary

Rabbit Punch is a delightfully oddball shoot‑‘em‑up that feels like a cartoon boxing match in the sky. Instead of planes or spaceships, you pilot plump rabbits wearing oversized boxing gloves as they bounce across a side‑scrolling backdrop. The bunnies can jab with their gloves, fire a straight laser beam, or launch carrot‑shaped missiles at the hordes of flying foes that stream in from the right. Whenever a canned carrot appears, grabbing it upgrades your firepower or restores a punch‑ready boost, keeping the action fresh. I love how the game mixes the absurd visual theme with tight, responsive controls, making each run feel both humorous and surprisingly skillful.

Storyline

Rabbit Punch on Arcade drops players into the tranquil realm of Bunnyland, a land of hopping peace that’s suddenly shattered by an alien invasion. The invaders swoop in, snatching the king, the princess, and her sister, leaving the kingdom in chaos. In response, the royal family’s own battle mecha, USAGI, is activated to confront the threat. The towering robot battles its way through alien forces, eventually confronting the alien overlord known as the Demon King. With the Demon King defeated, USAGI rescues the hostages and restores calm to Bunnyland.
