Summary

Face Off is a four‑player arcade hockey experience that lets you pick from eight international squads – Canada, the United States, the Soviet Union, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Finland, France, and the host nation Japan. In Tournament mode a solo or duo can take on four CPU teams in succession, while Versus mode lets up to four friends battle head‑to‑head, even sharing a side with two players per team. Before each period you decide whether your squad fields three or five skaters, and the game demands another coin when the ten‑second timer on the continue screen counts down – a quirky nod to Greek text that flashes "ODCH" as the clock runs out. The cabinets can be linked together, much like Namco’s Final Lap series, turning a single machine into a full‑blown multiplayer arena.
