Summary

Double Dragon II: The Revenge upgrades the classic arcade brawler with two directional attack buttons instead of separate punch and kick controls. Hitting the attack button that matches the direction you’re facing launches a normal punch combo, while the opposite button triggers a back kick, and the game even adds a Hurricane Kick for extra flair. Each of the four missions—heliport, lumber storehouse, farm, and the gang’s new hideout—is punctuated by a themed boss, and the final showdown pits you against a mirror‑image clone of your own character. Enemies return from the original bout but sport new looks, weapons and attacks; you can snatch shovels, knives, chain whips, grenades, logs or even steel balls to throw at them. Storyline

The arcade classic Double Dragon II: The Revenge opens with a grim twist—Marian, the heroine from the first game, is shot dead by the Black Warriors' leader. Brothers Billy and Jimmy Lee return to the streets, driven by a single purpose: avenge Marian’s death. Their quest spans four distinct stages, each packed with waves of gang members and tough bosses that test their fighting skills. The climax pits them against Willy, the Black Warriors’ chief, in a fierce showdown that decides the gang’s fate. After Willy falls, a final, eerie battle awaits—a shadowy Doppelganger that mirrors Billy and Jimmy, serving as the ultimate test of their resolve.
